It's good to have answers and not just feel like some kind of freak of nature. I'm glad you have answers and anemia is SO simple to treat. Very happy for you.
After having dd, I was severly anemic and had lost a ton of blood. My doctor thought it would be 3-4 weeks before I could stay awake for any ammount of time, but I took iron supplements and ate TONS of broccoli, spinach and red meat. I also drank a lot of orange juice and stayed away from carbonated beverages. Orange juice will help your body absorb the iron where as carbonation will inhibit it. I felt better in about 2 weeks- HALF the time my doctor anticipated.
