Yes, I call it Ponder-GROSS-a, yuck, that buffet is just nasty, the presevatives that they put on the lettuce and stuff gives me intestinal issues!! I personally have issues with any restaurant that has a buffet w/a sneeze guard, you just never know who is touching what before they touch the food on the buffet!! ick!!:hurl: & you know that sneeze guard isn't doing a dang thing!!!

I'm not much of a McDonalds fan either, but I do get ds happy meals there. He loves it!

The other place that gags me is Taco Bell, or Taco Hell, blech!!:hurl:

I don't like Denny's, their food is covered in grease, which makes it all taste the same! Plus, it is just dirty.

Fast food: McDonalds, only thing I can stomach is the breakfast sandwiches. If DH & DD want McDonalds after 10am, I don't order anything.

Restaurant: Olive Garden - I don't understand why people will actually wait for a table at this place when theres an authentic italian restaurant right up the road. We got a gift card for Olive Garden one christmas and were relieved when the fine print said it could be used at other restaurants. I make more authentic italian at home with no training!

Add me to the list of McDonalds haters. Ever since some kitchen worker announced loudly "Ew, gross, there's a snail on the wall!" while I was eating my burger, I can't stomach their food anymore. When I think of their burgers, all I can think about is slimy snails. :hurl:

I will occassionally let my dd get a Happy Meal if they are doing a cool toy promotion, but thankfully, that's rare.

Least favorite restaurant - definately Chuck E Cheese. My kids love it and we hardly take them because they are soooo full of white trash kids and the pizza is terrible. Why can't someone open up a restaurant that's fun for kids and serves decent food for the parents forking over the cash??????

The list of local restaurants we can't go to is LOOOOOOOONG. DH works in emergency and always chats with patients about where they work. When they tell him the restaurant they work at - he usually can't go there again. I can't blame him - if you treat someone for scabies or staph or worse, you don't want to eat anything they are cooking. One week he had 4 different people from the same place (that we formerly liked to go to) that all had staph infections and the same STD. Yuck - what was going on in that restaurant. He has a really favorite Mexican restaurant and I've told him it is just a matter of time before someone tells him that they cook there...

At least he is always willing to try new restaurants and we luckily live in a restaurant haven of a town. If we lived in a smaller town, we would never be able to go anywhere.

I don't even consider that a restaurant to be honest! :hurl: The food seems like such an afterthought. I'm so glad they tore down the one locally.
