I am thinking of opening up a children's resale store. Can anyone tell me why they like resale stores? I am trying to see if it is a good idea or not. I have a survey online that I would like everyone to take. It's 10 basic questions. If you take my survey, it would be very helpful to me in opening my store and deciding if it's a good idea or not. Thank you very much for your time and opinions.

I knew a lady that did this. It took her a while to get alot of inventory but once she got enough to get it up and going it was sooooo worth it. If you are in a good area buisness wise you could really make a good buisness especially if you do consignments too. Good Luck and I hope it works out for you.

I actually have some inventory. I used to work in one for 3 years and it was a great experience. I hope everything works out for me. I really do want to open one. I hope everyone can help me out so I can have some input.

Just wanted to let you know there was a problem with the survey. When I hit the next button it said some of my questions were not answered. I double checked and they were all answered so I do not know why it didn't work.

I filled out your survey but couldn't submit it- says I haven't filled out an answer but I did. Tried again and same thing.

Basically, I like resale shops, would love to run one myself!! I like that you can get all brands in one place, good qualilty and decent price. I won't pay more than 1/3 of original value and even that is unusual for me for something used.

If your area can support this type of business I say go for it!! Good luck

I love shopping for kids clothing and supplies at the resale shops here. It's the only place I can find Gymboree clothing around here unless I want to shop online or drive 30 miles.

Depends on your area, we have too many here, none of them do that well (financially). BUT if you live in an area that doens't have one then it would be nice for you!
