I'm going to Milwakkee in about 2 weeks for a conference. Any good places to eat or things to do see??

Oh have fun! I live about 40 minutes south and lived and worked there for 5 years. My suggestion is to go down to the lakefront. THere are so many walking paths, coffee shops, parks and things to do. Then there is the art museum that is right on the waters edge. Beautiful! Depending on week or weekend you will be there Milwaukee is known for all of their cultural festivals. Here is a link to activities and food. Milwaukee Key Festival of the Arts and Polish Fest are both coming up. And if you are here at the end of June early July Summerfest starts and that is one of the biggest music festivals in the country with different stages and food set up for 7 days.
