I went to the interview today to get the job my friend has and is now leaving. Well, talked to her boss, he was really nice, and we talked about his family and how they are coping. He travels monday in Ohio, tuesday NJ, wednesday nj, thursday NY, friday ohio again! so he is all over the place. he knows what I do and my boss alreay talked to him (the position is to support, my boss' boss) that I work hard and that he would rather have me working with him in the Packaging department, than moving here to the new position!!!
so we will see, btu the other lady i am up against is very good, but a bitch and she is about to get laid off, her boss was already laid off, so he told me that I am needed where I am and this girl is not doing aaything and might need this position more than I do, and if he finds it doesnt fit then he will call me. He would rather give her this position, than lay her off, and give her her package, we are all making a pretty penny when we will get laid off, I am getting about $30,000-$40,000 when I get laid of.
I told him i really dotn care, i told him this is not my dream job, it is a good oppertunity, if i get it then fine, if not fine too. I told him, you met me, you know what I do and how I do it and if and when you need me, call me!
he will get back to me by Monday.
So i really dotn think i got it, but then i went to my current boss and told him i didnt get the job becasue he talked to his boss before i interviewed with him! he said, oh i didnt say anything bad against you!, I was like, yeah right!
in a way it is good, at least i know my boss needs me enough to fight to keep me! and then i asked him to give me next week off!
