I agree. Take full advantage of the fact you can attend up to three events before deciding to join and if I may suggest, make one of those events the member meeting (which is once a month) Pick different events so you meet different folks and see if you click with anyone. I attended the member meeting first (for both of my MOMS Clubs before joining) and then a park date. You won't be invited to go to playgroups within member's homes until you are a member, so don't take offense to that. It's just policy!
The member meetings are great because typically they have a child care room and the babies can go there, while the MOMS meet. AND a lot of the time you will be able to socialize without the interuption of kids. Most importanly though, you will see during the meeting that the MOMS club is not just a club for mothers to get togehter for playgroups, it's so much more. It's about charity work, community involvement, sponsoring child overseas, etc. I LOVE what the MOMS club stands for.
