I haven't read the other responses to your post yet, but I just wanted to say that I'm so sorry to hear this. I know that waiting for those results will be nerve-racking, (sp?) but do try to be positive. I can imagine how it must feel to have your Dr. say he "doesn't feel good about this". Especially with your history...Sending you BIG HUGS!!
I just had my first mammo. yesterday (due to painful fibroids in both breasts), and I am still awaiting my results too. We seem to be in the same boat here, as there is a history of breast cancer in my family as well. I know
just how you feel!! But try to be strong...and pray! And I will keep you in my prayers as well.
The thing is, the survival rate of those with breast cancer is so different from person to person. Even with those within the same family. Not everyone that HAS breast cancer succombs to it. My Aunt (after a mastectomy, and many rounds of radiation therapy and chemo.) did pass away from it about 5 yrs. ago, but then my Grandma (her Mom) also had breast cancer, and had a mastectomy (but with no radiation or chemo.), and since then she's been healthy as a horse. (And she's 87!)
Believe me, I know how scared you must be. I will be keeping you in

ray: !!
