he said he wants to go to Disney this Jan. what Six months to plan and finance! He is worried that oldest won't enjoy it if she is older. She will turn 9 in august.

do u think we could wait until next jan (2009) to give more financial planning. I don't want to charge anything.

I think that you can wait. I know it was "magical" for my girls when we went and they were under 12 - now that my oldest is 14 the experience is a totally different one. When they were younger they would get so excited about all of the characters and that was such a big deal. Now it is all about the rides. I think delaying it one year at the age yours is now will not make a big difference but having to charge it might make a difference in your financial plan.

I went to Disney when I was a Sr in high school and I loved it! Another year she'll still enjoy it and you won't have to pay credit card fees for it either.
