Well dh got an update on the surgery to remove his mole a couple of weeks ago. With the holiday week and the doctor being off it took them a while to call him.
It turns out that the mole is cancerous and they did not get it all. He has to go for a follow up with the doctor this week. At that point the doctor will tell him what the options are. They may be able to get it all still if it hasn't spread to much. Let's just cross our fingers that it hasn't gone too far. ray: He does have another mole really close to where the other one was that the doctor is now concerned about as well. I know I have to try and be positive but it is so hard when it is something so scary like this. And he is so young. He will be 27 in 3 weeks!
Please pray that they are able to get the rest of it and he will not have to go through treatment of any kind. ray:
Oh Sonja you & Randy both will be in my prayers! I am sending hugs & prayers your way. Will the doctor go ahead and remove the other mole as a safety measure? I know that it is hard to stay positive during this time, just remember that God is the Almighty Healer & He has performed many miracles in curing people.
I will pray for the doctor that they are able to get everything & that Randy's tests will come back clear and that he will not need any kind of treatment. Saying a prayer the doctors get all the cancer and all the test will come back saying he is okay and he will not need any treatment.

Sonja, I am so sorry that you did not receive the news you were hoping for. Let's just be positive (or at least try to) that they will get it all next time and he will not have to endure treatment. I will be saying prayers for both of you.
Oh wow, Sonja. I am just now reading this. I am so sorry....and you know you are both in my prayers. This is such a wake up call for ALL of us. Keep us updated.
