Okay, I told you all about last Thursday...AWFUL.
Monday was as bad..took the principal to get him in the class. And, at lunch, he just layed his head on the table...and didn't eat a single bite of anything. The teacher suggested we try the bus.

So, Tuesday, dh has to get ON the bus to get him in it. He was hysterical. Big sis was riding with him, but he did not care. It again took the principal AND big sis to get him OFF the bus and into school. We even bribed him with a dollar to go to the before school bookstore. That helped some, so I'm thankful we did it. The principal and Emily, my 10 year old little mommy(!), took him to the bookstore, where he picked out something and then he got to show Emily his classroom for a second...and although he was crying, he let her go to her own class. Lunchtime, he ate a ham and cheese roll up, but that was it.

So, today, we were all set again....he didn't eat all of his breakfast, since he was crying over not wanting to go..but it was not the sobbing from the last three days...and Daddy walked out to the bus stop again with them...and when the bus came....

HE GOT ON IT HIMSELF!!! NO TEARS!!!!!

He waved to me from the window (I had stood at the front door, which he knew I would do), and he had this resigned look on his face..."Okay, so I have no choice...I don't got to like it, but I'm going..."!! LOL YIPPPEEEEE!!!!! I was so excited. AND RELIEVED!!!

Okay, just wanted to share....now, I have to spend the day cleaning instead of worrying. I am SO far behind on everything! LOL :D

I feel your pain! Megan cried everyday the first few days of first grade last year.

I am proud of Riley! Now get that housework done! LOL!

Let us know how it goes...

I am soooo glad for you that he is adjusting. Now, start your prayers for me. My ds cried everyday last year at pre-k until the last three weeks of school. He does not even want to talk about school now. He was not even interested in getting school supplies. Oh, how I dread it.
