MODERATORS needed

I'm getting bombarded with PMs from those of you willing to help moderate. *Thanks SO much! *To make things easier, if you'd like to help be on the moderating team, leave your post here under this topic instead of e-mailing or PMing me. *Please make sure you have at least 500 posts in on the old board to apply. *Let me know which topics interest you the most. *We'd like at least 2-3 mods under each category.

What does it mean to be a moderator? Well, if you're on the board a lot already, it shouldn't require much extra time. You keep a lookout for spam, inappropriate posts, and try to keep flaming in check. If there is a "bad" post (i.e. someone linking to a Viagra ad, a home business or MLM), chances are you will get a PM from a member complaining about it before you even see it. Then you go in and delete the post. You will need to keep track of usernames that post spam so I can ban them if there is a repeat occurrence. If "real" members violate our policy (I'm not talking spammers here), you kindly remind them that we don't allow personal attacks/promoting home businesses, etc. It's really pretty easy.

I'd still love to moderate. I frequent Chit-Chat, Relationships & Intimacy, Crafts, Scrapbooking & Photography...and sometimes the samples and freebies.

I'm willing to help wherever you need me.
