Anyone know if Mrs Duggar had baby number 17 yet?? I figured some of you Arkansas moms would know first, i had read somewhere they expected #17 on July 28th. I'm not sure if that was just her due date or if she had a scheduled c-section for that day? I also heard it was expected to be a girl and her name would be Jennifer.

I thought I'd read somewhere that she'd just had her baby, but I may be mistaken. If she's already had #17 then she's probably preggo again with #18.

Thats just insane on having that many kids. Bet they get a great tax return! What is it? $5k per kid.

There's a cap on how much money you can receive per child, though...you can only count so many children if you get the EIC too.

I can't imagine 17 kids, either...that's a whole classroom full. I have four and have a hard enough time getting to know them inside and out and letting them get to know me with one on one time...I can't imagine trying to find one on one time for seventeen kids.

I once heard her say "saying there are too many children, is like saying there are too many flowers!".....ok, i don't see the similarity myself, but ok. I just laughed about as hard as i could when i heard her say that. Their show is on TLC every now and then. Of course, now there's an extra head. Glad it's a girl though, they were outnumbered 10 to 6 before....catching up, woohoo!

I haven't heard either, but with regards to the tax thing....I am sure that some of their older children can't be counted anymore....I wonder if any have moved out yet?

Personally, I wouldn't have children just to raise my children--but to each their own, they seem happy and like nice (strange) but harmless people. Would rather have them for neighbors than the crack house & habitat houses I guess....

I personally think they are very blessed to be able to have that many healthy children. They are also DEBT FREE! Good for them!
