MODS - Can we sticky a thread

I was wondering if we could sticky a thread for updates of Me&My2Girls family members who were on the bridge in MN and still missing. I am praying for them, as I know many others here are, and I'm sure we would all appreciate an easy way to keep posted of any news. Thanks!!
