Someone lied about their baby dying? OMG! What is wrong with people?

Ok sweetie here is a list of your trials and tribulations over the last couple months. You read them over and then think to yourself WOW!! I am not trying to be mean here it's just hard to believe that so much has happened to you and your family in such a short time.

Daughter with strange illness....now all forgotten about....

Pregnant with twins after big V.....

Accident....she adopts Noah....whose parents are druggies but supply a will, but you have no birth cert for or did you find it?

She has to rescue neighbor kids from horrible baby sitter...

Dd allergic to fillings

SIL and BIL...accident on bridge....

Wins a huge vacation...

Gets a whack wattress who carves up her car.......

All within months of each other????


BTW if you are in CA why does your IP say you are still at home?

Okay I do not even know how to respond to this, so I think that I won't. We do not need to judge, and I have known people that have had a lot of tragedy in their lives that was absolutely true. So why should we question her just because we haven't heard about their story in the news. Do you know how many people die in car accidents & it doesn't make the news? I enjoy this forum because we can speak how we feel, and there has been a lot of support on here, and prayer requests, so this just kind of bothers me that some people are asking her to prove this. I hope & pray that if I have a tragedy in my life & I post it on here and ask for prayers or shoulders to lean on that I am not asked to prove that it is true.

Wow, I must be naive, because I never thought I would see something like this on MS. For the record, I believe what I read here. Why would we question someone else's pain and suffering when they have come here for our SUPPORT-- not for us to question their stories. I have never been anything but uplifted by the members here when something happened to Tommy or my family. Is there someone out there that wants me to prove what I have been through as well? We all have our personal struggles, and just because YOU haven't gone through something as horrendous, don't think it couldn't happen.

To the People who pray and worry about others on this Board - I understand that you could feel hurt if you were lied to -

How about praying for the Person in general - that they Get through WHATEVER they are Going through.

It sounds like if someone Claims their baby Died -( I can't Believe a Member actually did that!!) they Need Prayers regardless of whether or not its true -!
I can't Even bring myself to fib and say my Kids are Sick - I feel too Guilty

That makes two of us Tommys Mommy I must be just as naive as you. I was just saying yesterday how great everyone is here to one of the new members.

Understand where people are coming from. There have been people on this board who have fabricated stories, some accepting money and cards for a "sick child" that never existed. Yes not everyone is honest in the world. Not saying she is one, but some people get enjoyment from attention that's why stories are fabricated by some. I'm not the original poster, but her post was not meant to be hurtful. Just to point out that there are some questions with the story, and if it was fabricated, and people gave prayers accordingly, then that was wrong. At a glance it would appear as a gang up by moderators, but members have sent pm's to mods also questioning things. If something is fishy on the board wouldn't you want the moderators to try and rectify a situation?

How is your brother doing? If I remember right he couldn't feel his legs, but later would be better after therapy. How did the doctors help him with his spinal cord injury?

There are many many great people on this board.

I have to agree w/ Noahsmommy. I have spent the past year dealing w/ all kinds of hurt and especially deaths of people that I am close to in my family. Two of which had very long and painful drawn out illnesses. It was torture for me and I would never make any of it up or stretch the truth about it. I would be very hurt if someone tried to say I was lying or stretching the truth about what happened and then not have the guts to actually post under their user name.

Me&mygirls: Personally I dont think you owe anyone an explaination or proof. If they choose not to believe you then thats on them. I am sorry that you are so hurt. Just know that you do have friends here who care about you, pray for you and support you. I hope that you know that.
