Okay, I'm going to be brave and play Devil's Advocate here! I have not been a member of this board long enough to know all of the horror stories quoted here tonight. What I DO know is we are still talking about a PERSON here! I have never seen a post of her asking for ANYTHING from MS. As a matter of fact, when the bridge incident happened, people did try to send gifts/money/cards and she refused! What has she done wrong??? As far as I am concerned, it is nothing!

Does everyone believe that I have an abusive father, 4 boys, an exhusband, tried to kill myself in highschool, suffer from depression, and was just lucky enough to have a very sick baby??? Yeah, it's all true. Not everybody's life is all peaches and cream. Why did she have to be "called out"? Over WHAT??? So a few people don't believe her. Why did it have to become this huge thread of "did she or didn't she"?

If it were me, my feelings would be beyond hurt right now!

Me either. And its not. When did questioning someone's sincerity become cliquish?

I agree whole heartedly. My whole thing is I feel like the poster lashed out at her and did it in the wrong way.

I agree with TommysMommy. Thing happen in life.
10yrs ago I had my boss kill his wife, kill him self, left a 8 month old baby to live with the fruitloop in laws. My Fil died at 52. My Mil had a heart attack the same night. Needed a triple bipass.. Funeral got postponed.. Few months later My Dh[ boyfriend then] graduated college. I found out I was prego. Got married 2 months later. My sil found out a few days before my wedding she was preggo. Same senerio..

I don't think people could make up so much! Maybe I'm niaive!! But I still believe she is truthful!

Okay....well I'm a mod ( AND NO I DID NOT START THIS THREAD!!!). I can see both sides of this issue. I do think that there are some legitimate concerns and questions. However I also agree this should NOT have been posted on the board but instead dealt of with private PMs to the person. But that's just my opinion.

Ladies (and any men that may be lurking), we all have odd, out of the ordinary, and yes, unbelievable things happen to us. However, things just haven't been adding up. We have indeed had several members ask mods to look into certain things, and as mods are looking out for our members, we have simply been keeping an eye on things.

I am not sure, but it's possible the OP only wanted the fantastical stories to stop or at least some things to come clean. When posters ask questions, those questions are ignored. We asked, why did MIL have to stay with SIL, when a nurse could be hired? No answer. How did last night's waitress know which car was theirs? No answer. Why is she still at home, rather than on the trip? If we want to do stories as entertainment, that's OK, but do know that good-hearted people are spending their prayers, time and emotion (I, personally, was very affected by her stories at first, opening myself up to ridicule...yep...I'm gullible) when our Mommysavers friends are in trouble. There are more things that simply don't add up, but they are even more numerous to add to the list.

Me&My2Girls, you are, of course, very welcome here. But there are a few holes we'd love to have filled in, and the real you come on in. I still believe you have indeed have had some of these things befall you. Am I gullible? Maybe. But do know this board isn't like many out there. There are real hearts on the line. I visited another parenting board today that I hadn't been on in a long time, and it refreshed why I quit. Nasty.

I don't think the OP was trying to be mean, and as mentioned, there have been members questioning this, and it was only a matter of time before one of them was going to wonder why nothing was being said, knowing we usually hop on issues. Should it have been done in private? Perhaps. But it would still be an issue for those that didn't ask. I can understand why those who haven't followed everything would be upset. But the posts are there to see to make your own determination.

Wow that is a lot of stuff happening in one person's life! I don't get on here as much as I used to and it is so hard to keep up so I didn't realize that was all from Me&My2girls. I remember all the other stuff but not the person saying their baby died. Well, hopefully she will come on and clear things up. Gotta get to bed now, stayed up later reading all this drama!
