Since I don't consider my life revolving around my dh, what do you do for a living?

I currently work as a Certified Nursing Assistant at a nursing home. Besides, running my household, and keeping track of my kids and their activities.

I teach.
I take care of dogs and cats at a vet clinic kennel part-time.
Up until yesterday, I worked at McDonalds as well.

You know it's funny I was just thinking about this the other day-I have always considered myself a SAHM, but looking back I never have been, I've always done things on the side to give myself spending money. Ebay/Craigslist/Usborne/babysitting/childcare, etc.

I'm a Realtor now and I love it. I work from home on my own schedule.

I am a freelance marketing communications writer and provide marketing support to small technology companies. It's kind of a freelance version of what I used to do, but I can work from home and fit it into my schedule.

I want to do this. Where did you get your licence??

I work as a Cook in a nursing home. I started there when I was 17, right out of hs. About 8 years ago, I went to work at Uconn, where I was the Assisnant Catering cook, but they were training me to be a chef. After dd2 was born, I went back to the Nursing home and worked my way up to head cook.:happy dance:

I quit my teaching job in December to be a stay at home mom. I did renew my teaching credential in May just in case we couldn't make ends meet on dh's salary, but so far so good! Mommysavers has helped a lot!!!

I am a 911 dispatcher, hence my Mommysavers name!! I love my job, because I get to help people everyday. I then come home and turn into 911mom. So my days and nights are filled with emergencies. But I wouldn't want it any other day. And for the record, my DH revolves around the rest of us!! LOL
