Today is my oldest last day of summer vacation- and it is not going to be a fun one! it is also my youngest birthday today (she is officially 4!).

We have a few people coming over for dinner and the house is a disater- between the bathroom remodel and the E. Coli in our water system- I have a ton of work to do (that I am really not looking forward to!). I never realized how dependant we are with our tap water until you have to boil water to do dishes- baths (if we don't have the time to go to a relatives house!) and so on. My oldest is hoping that we can do some last minute school shopping- but I think we are completely done- and honestly I don't feel like doing any shopping today! Oh well- I never really had a last hoorah during summer vacation!

I can't wait til tomorrow!:happy dance: !

My last day of summer vacation was last Tuesday. it was really hard saying good-bye to those lazy days of summer but all good things come to an end..............

I've never really had a last day of summer hoo-rah either but a neighboring town has their celebration and we go there so I guess that's hoo-rah enough

Oh that's okay! It really is not as bad as I thought it would be- we have a ton of bottled water- I just have to boil the water for 1 minute to kill the bacteria and let it cool to do things with hot water. It's just more work than I like ! It should be resolved by Saturday- I hope!

I know how you feel about the last day of summer thing!!! My two oldest kids start school tomorrow and my 4 year old doesn't start until Sept. 15th. It is going to get quiet around here...I can't wait!!!!!!!! We are supposed to have company tonight also! No last minute shopping here The closest place to shop is at least 1 1/2 hours away. We just need to take a deep breath and wait it out until tomorrow then it's aaaaaahhhhhhh!! Less caos anyway.
