I'm with you, I hesitated to post!
DD is allowed to use temporary tattoos. I hate real ones so I'm indoctrinating her now about how fun temporary ones are. I say things like, "See, when you get bored with it, you can change it." And, "You can wear a different style depending on how you're feeling that day." I'm hoping she never feel compelled to get a permanent tattoo (or smoke or do illegal drugs or get drunk or be promiscuous) but I'm sure by the time she is a teenager there will be something equally horrifying.
That said, DD put a Tinkerbell tattoo on her upper chest (it peeks over the collar of her T-shirts) weeks ago. It has faded a little but it has yet to wear off. I've never seen a temporary tattoo last so long. She hasn't said anything yet but I'm wondering if she's getting tired of it. I know I am.
As far as the trampoline, an enclosure helps but I'm hearing stories of kids who are still getting seriously hurt. Someone on this board had a 4-yr old who got a compound fracture in her arm (that's where the bone breaks and sticks out of the skin) from playing on a trampoline - and she didn't fall off, just landed wrong.
In terms of street vehicles, I'm not planning on buying anything low to the ground (which is another problem I have with the motorized vehicles) because I think it makes the kid too hard to see from a automobile. Therefore I'm not buying anything that looks like a 'Big Wheel' or a pocket rocket.
And no, I don't think anyone is planning on buying their kids illegal substances: cigarettes, alcohol, illegal drugs.
