Ok, my sister in law's boyfriend broke up with her and I know that I probably should send her flowers. Don't ask why I hesitate to do this, because then I will have to go into a LONG explanation of why the girl drives me NUTS!!!!!!!!! haha (Really, you don't want to read it.)

Can anyone recommend a good website to purchase nice flowers or gifts from, without spending a fortune? Actually, I want to spend nothing at all!! But I really feel I have to, to keep the family peace.

Thank you!

I have business experience with Teleflora, 1-800-Flowers, and FTD and I would say 1-800-Flowers is clearly superior. However, they are all quite expensive. If she's local, I would recommend going to the florist yourself and having an arrangement made. If she's not local, you can call a florist in her area. You will save a TON. Even something from the grocery store sometimes looks nicer than FTD arrangement I have seen that have been $60+.

I have used 1-800 Flowers two or three times because I get double or triple frequent flier miles with them when I buy something using a specific credit card that I get. They are expensive, but very good! Some times they'll have a good deal, I hope you can find one.

I love ProFlowers, it's the only place I order from...they deliver all over the US and Internationally too. The flowers are always fresh and always beautiful! They have wonderful customer service as well.

Flowers, plants, roses, & gifts. Flower delivery with fewer handlers & better values.

I just ordered a beautful set of flowers for my dh. I used teleflora.com they use local florists near their delivery location.
The coupon code I used was from this site: (15% off entire order) Teleflora coupons - Teleflora coupon code - Telefloral codes

My Dh and I used 1-800-FLOWERS for Mother's day last year and had a horrible experience w/ them...I'll never order flowers on-line again if I can avoid it.

Well, it's not really a custom at all. But it's the kind thing to do, I suppose. She had been with this guy for about 5 years and hoped to marry him. She's pretty down in the dumps now about it. Although she's not my favorite person in the world, I still think sending flowers or a small comfort gift would be the right thing to do in her case. Thanks for asking, though! I can understand why you'd be confused.
