Thanks Ladies for reassuring me I did the right thing. I know in my heart it was the right thing to do.
I tried looking for the babies parents # yesterday on the internet and in the phone book. I could not find much of anything in the surrounding area for the name ex daycare provider gave. Some people no longer have land lines, just cell phones. Makes it harder to contact. I will continue the search though.
Yesterday I tried not to think of what happened there that I never knew about, I could drive myself insane if I did.
So now I search for a new daycare.....UGGGGGGGG! But I have some leads from people I know this time, not just picking a name. I will let you all know when and if I find a daycare.

You did the right thing and if I was the parent of any of those kids, not just the one in the garage, I would want to know She could be in huge trouble! Good luck finding other care.

I realize your frustration in having to find a new daycare provider. That's the worst!! And it can take some time to find the right person too, which sometimes can put your job in jeapordy in the meantime. But I think I would have taken a "morning drive" and camped out in front of the old daycare providers' house and intercepted the Mother(s) of the child/children you mentioned. If I were them, I would be so grateful to you for the information. Too many bad things come to mind in situations which you described!

Good luck to you in finding a new care provider! Hope you're able to get a new one soon!!

I agree 200%! I would have sat there and stopped everyone and told them.

That's horrible. A wake up call? Hello! I'm wondering if the police should be called, as this was all so very dangerous. Those children are in trouble every minute they are with her. Can someone do a welfare check, I wonder.

I agree TOTALLY and COMPLETELY with catch the parents at the drop off or pick up time, they simply MUST be told!

I never thought of sitting out front of her house to tell the parents.
The County called me again this morning to ask more questions and she verbally said, "I am so shocked that there was a baby in the garage by herself". I am hoping that is a good sign and action will be taken.
Yes hopefully this is a "wake up call", but after she called me back and acted like she did NOTHING wrong & said "I was imagining things, and this is how it happened"(how would she know, she was downstairs without a clue?).......I was like, "it is ON!" Apparently she is manipulative as well. WOW I was a bad judge of character there. My daughter has been there since she was teeny tiny! And then she treats me like, "get your kid out of here, I am not comfortable with her anylonger!" NOt settling well with me at all!

Bad thing is, I am going on vacation tonight for a week, and the day after I get back I will need new daycare. That hardly gives me time to search for a good one. But the company I work for is very understanding and flexible(that is why I work there), so I am not super worried about the job loss thing. Just finding a trusting daycare, and trusting my judgement again.
