I just took out the last batch of the salsa. I hae not heard any "pops". that worries me since I started to hear the pops right away with the other two batches.

Maybe the pops did happen- but you were too tired to hear them? I hope your final batch turns out good!

What are the pops? Obviously I am not a salsa maker!

I have never made homemade salsa before but would love to try since everyone in this family loves it. What are the "pops"? Does that give you some type of a signal to move to the next step or that it is ready?

Are you referring to the jars sealing themselves? I guess you will just have to test one. Can you try to reseal them?

It can take a little while. I never actually hear them pop, I just push on the tops to see if they have sealed. If they didn't you could just redue the top and reboil them.

BTW: Can you share your salsa recipe. I've always wanted to can salsa and I have tomatoes and hot peppers coming out of my ears.
