The doctor doing the study did say it was 'chronic' stress.
I know I've had more than one doctor tell me the best way to deal with stress was to get some exercise. I have to agree. Getting out of my normal routine, doing something just for myself, giving myself time to think, breathing deeply, being outside, and MOVING does help. When live goes slightly askew, I think exercise does help. However, I also agree that trying to add an exercise routine to your schedule when you're already overwhelmed - and have been for a long time - can be detrimental. Maybe there are other places to start to get healthy like just eating decent whole-food meals on a regular basis and getting more sleep. Maybe we should all start a new exercise routine by first taking time to meditate, stretch and relax. Once we get into that habit, we can get into the habit of exercising and might be more likely to stay with it.
