OHG today is one of THOSE days! So I went to target (to actually get stuff we NEED not just clearance stuff) shopped waiting in line, checked out, opened wallet....nothing there my check card was missing. I remembered strait away that I had left it on my desk last night cuz i went to order that jewelry deal from hot deals section. Anyway so I asked her to hold my stuff and I would run home and get my card and come back. I live literally 2 mins from target. And no I didn't have another form of payment b/c we no longer carry our cc on us. part of that being financially responsible crap! uhg. So I come home leave kids in car and run in down to office and lo and behold my card is not where I left it. So I run back up and out let kids in house b/c obviously can't leave them in car while I look for it. Call dh ask him what he did with it, b/c of course since I didn't move it it must have been him right?! He says oh i saw it on the desk, no ****! UHG no help there. I've been looking for an hour now! STILL can't find it. our puppy pooped in the office while we were gone so I'm wondering if he got on the desk and got it. Not really a stretch that dog eats everything and is always jumping up and chewing stuff up. anyway, i'm going crazy the woman at target has probably given up on me and put all my stuff up and thanks for letting me vent, i don't do it that often.....

Have dh look, have the kids look. You know how you can swear it's not there, and the next person walking into the room says- oh, here it is?

Not sure if a dog could swallow that (though I have seen stranger things) but the magnetic strip would show up on an x-ray...

If you can't find it after all, I would contact your bank just to be safe. They can issue you a new one. SO frustrating!

thanks ladies! Remember the part of the story where I said I called my dh,,,,and he said he didn't know hadn't messed with it etc....

well he had put it in the copier to test it out....he "remembered" after he too looked all over for it when he got home.
