Just curious. While I am in a scrubbing mood, I was laughing at myself on how many of the cleaners I use just because Mom always used those brands!!! It is rare for me to venture out to a new brand, cause Mom's always seem to work so well!!!!!!
How about you??

my mother never used the same thing, She always just used what was on sale or at the $1 store. I am a creature of habbit I will always buy the same things. Like Dawn dish soap I use it all the time I go threw less and it last twice as long so that is what I buy my mother would buy the cheap stuff that is very thin adn I can't stand to use it.

I tend to be brand specific b/c of my allergies but she always went for the deal. I have alot less headaches when I use just a few choice cleaners, seems like everything has strong perfumes now.

I use almost the exact same cleaners as my mom -- if there is something on sale sometimes I venture out of my comfort zone, but I usually return to what's familiar! I often laugh about it too...thinking, "OMG, I'm becoming my mother!"

No! My mom used a lot of brands that I grew up hating their smell! So I buy ones that at least attempt to have a fresh smell masking the chemical one.

My mom (she's gone now ) once asked why I used a particular brand of dish soap because she 'always used what Her mom used'. I then asked my grandmother what brand of dish soap she Really used and she answered, "honey, I buy what's on sale!" I told my mom and we all had a good laugh!

This was an interesting question, I was thinking about it and no, not really. My Mom used to use powdered spic & span for so many things, floors, tubs etc So I do like the smell of spic and span but other than that, I use totally different things. She used to have this brown bottle of lysol and it smelled SO BAD. I know they've vastly improved the scent since then but I just can't buy it.

no. my mother was a bleach fanatic. i would come home and the house would smell like bleach everywhere. she used it for everything!!! i only use bleach in the wash and a capful or two when cleaning floors once in awhile. other than that i stick to all natural vinegar and water and tea tree oil.
