Hi, my name is Kendal, obviously, and I work for a company called groceryguide.com. We were wanting to add Aldi to our list of stores, but I cannot figure out how their advertised sales work. You guys look like you know the stores backwards and forwards, so I was wondering if you could help. I have been to their website multiple times and they always have two different ad dates up. They have one ad that starts on Sunday of the week we are in, and then they have an ad that starts the coming Sunday. This is just what I assume because it says "from August 20th" in the top right corner. Is this the case? Do they give you a preview of the coming ad or are they all current sales? Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I don't shop at Aldi's much, but there's one in town so we get the ad each week. I think one side of the ad (it's always one page front and back) is usually special buy type stuff that's only available on a certain day and when it's gone it's gone. The ad is always dated for a week but the specials always seem to start sometime mid-week. The other side of the ad seems to be regular stuff. Hope that makes some sense!

I think if you work for a company and are trying to negotiate business with aldi's, it would be better for you to contact aldi's with these questions.

I agree w/you aliadam!! I shop there, know it inside and out...but I don't feel comfortable w/the question being asked.

you have it right Kendal. they give a preview of the following weeks ad. I don't look them up online so I don't know anything about that. They have preview ads in the store. the only send the current ad in the paper. I agrre you should contact them for more detailed info.
