I live 50 miles east of Los Angeles. While I love the proximity to the mountains, beaches, and Disneyland , the price of housing often makes it difficult for young families to live here, especially on one income.

I live in North Louisiana. LA gets a bad rap sometimes...but I have moved around a lot and am glad to be back...
I hate cold weather, so ours is great except for the really, really humid days.
Also, the cost of living is less than other places!

We live in Waxahachie Texas & absolutely LOVE it!!!! We have the best of both worlds in that we have the small town feel with tons of family activities but can zip in to Dallas in 25-30 minutes for big city savings. Gingerbread trail of historic homes in both winter & summer and wonderful school district...
