i just figured it out. the new board is too big! i mean its great that we have a bunch of smaller categories to scratch everyone's itch - but i find myself just going immediately going to the new sub groups, looking them over quick then never getting back to "chit chat" to catch up with the ladies....

cant stop progress...but i dont have 1-2 hrs to devote online anymore!

i see your point i have just a few areas i use i could be missing something but your right it can be to time consuming to look at everything.

I just hit the new posts button at the top so I don't have to go through all the mini topics and then I just scan the titles to see what might interest me. I really like it that it gives you a preview when you hold your cursor over the title too.

I agree. There are advantages and disadvantages to having so many categories. I find it hard to keep up, but I like being able to "skim" the topics that don't really apply to me. I miss having such a small group though.

I feel the same way.. If I miss a day or two, it's almost so overwhelming to try and catch up...

If I miss a day or two, I don't even TRY to catch up. With the board growing, I'm sure people understand when the people who normally reply to their posts don't reply now. But I do like the new....it took awhile, but it grew on me!!

Ditto!! I still haven't gone through ever area of the boards yet.
