great day yesterday plus found great deals

First let me say, yesterday afternoon was awesome!!! I took the kids for back to school haircuts and lunch. My dh took the younger 2 home + the older 2 went to the pool (with free pool passes from a summer incentive program) = FREE AFTERNOON FOR MOM. I went to some garage sales. Just me no kids no time schedule just me. Some highlights are
a brand new sealed Thomas the Train Leapster cartridge for $1- it will be for my son for xmas
a brand new Blues Clues art set for 50¢- it will be a xmas gift for another son
some old Navy zip off pants in my oldest son's size like new condition for $1, it's hard to find size 12 boys with no knee wear around here (3 pair)
some great school shirts for my preschooler these are character ones like Thomas, Scooby, etc , basketball ones, and name brand like Nike and shorts for next summer for 10¢ -25¢
3 pair of extremely like new shoes for my boys for 50¢ -blues clues, superman, and a really cool pair with the zip strip laces perfect for my preschooler
My dd has been begging for one of those small fuzzy purses with the fake dog hanging out. I just couldn't bring myself to pay full price. Well yesterday I found one new or like new for 25¢. Another gift down.
Grand total $20 for 3 school pants, 8 school shirts, 3 xmas gifts, 3 school shoes, 2 new adult shirts, and other misc finds (6 full bags worth).
If all that wasn't enough I had a coupon for free pizza to bring home so no cooking. Then got to go to a spa party from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm with NO KIDS.
It wasn't even my birthday!!!!!
