I would totally change doctors and I would complain to your insurance company about her. That is just so wrong!

I hope you report her to your state board of health. Remeber if she is treating you like this, she is doing it to others, something will be done with enough compalints. I have worked with many doctors and I hate when people take what they say as gospel. There are so many idiots out there and unfortunately you got one today. I am sorry for your exp, I hope you get another appt soon with another doc and let us know.... in the meantime, you are in my prayers.ray:

What a hag! I'm sorry you were treated like that. Please do go for a second opinion (I say this as a woman who has a strong genetic breast cancer risk and underwent a bilateral mastectomy 4 years ago at 32 years old). I am BRCA1+ which gives a huge risk of breast/ovarian cancer. It comes from my dad's side and so many women on his side of the family died from it. Your doctor doesn't know her ass from a hole in the ground. Yes, women get cancer that young (both breast and ovarian). I'll keep you in my thoughts.

PS - I'm not thinking YOU have cancer, just that she is arrogant and stupid to say it doesn't happen. Run, don't walk, away from any doctor who makes those kind of stupid generalizations (like you are wasting her precious time or something).
