I met DH while he was working at Wal-Mart. I worked at Advanced Auto Parts but I did demos
(handing out samples) on the weekends at Wal-Mart for some extra money. He keep on visiting my sample tables and chatting, we are both kind of quiet people so it took a couple months before we actually went out. We have been together for almost 3 years, Married 2 on October 14th. Now, we won't have much a romantic anniversary because our second child is due the 9th. But, what a way to celebrate

I met my husband online as well...on a sports chatroom!

My cousin and I were going to pick up her boyfriend one night after he got off of work. DH was there waiting outside to talk to him too, and my cousin introduced us. We talked for a couple hours that night, and got to know each other and had a great conversation. We started dating a couple weeks later after our second date, and as of last tuesday, we have been together for 9 years. Married for just over one. The rest is history.

He graduated from HS with a friend of mine & she introduced us, just by chance one night in the bar.

A mutual acquaintance knowingly invited us to her house for apple crisp at 9p after he was down milking his cows. We connected quite quickly but it took him awhile to admit and commit and we couldn't be happier! I'm glad that we waited til our late 30's to get married and have a family.

I met dh in school. We were in homeroom together in high school. We didn't start dating til the summer before grade 12. It wasn't love at first sight...but strong like ! Sooooo we're high school sweethearts!

My DH and I met at a Cardinals baseball game... I was in the first seat and he was in the sixth seat of the same row... By the end of the game, we were sitting next to each other and had our first date 2 days later. We have been together ever since!

I met my DH in the high school parking lot when we were 15! He asked me for a cigarette and I gave him one (a Camel Light). After that he said he knew we would be together forever and I did really like him. We were just acquaintances for a year and then I tried getting him together with one of my best friends and he wouldn't go out with her.

Turns out he wanted to ask me out. After asking me out 3 times I finally said yes. During college we broke up a couple times because I didn't want to be in a serious relationship but never for long and we always still talked. We got serious again after I graduated from college and got married when we were 25 and our 4th anniversary is Oct 5th!!

Ps. we both quit smoking 5 1/2 years ago!

We met at a coffee shop, my first week of college. My friend and I were laying on one of the couches half-studying our art history and then he came in at sat down at the couch across from us. My best friend and I noticed him (cute!!) but tried to ignore his presence and kept laughing and pseudo studying. Every few minutes he'd talk to us, ask us a question (where do you go to school, etc). We found out he was a cadet--a senior at the Air Force Academy--a particular breed of guy we avoided. He was adorable and sweet, though, and didn't seem like the other cadets. Anyway, we left and went and sat in the car. My best friend didn't turn on the car, she just sat there. I said, "He was nice." She looked at me, "Yeah, and really cute." Then she rolled her eyes, handed me paper and a pen and told me to go back inside and give him my number. She told me I'd thank her at my wedding, and I did.

I met dh in my last semester of college. Turns out we had been living 100 yards from each other for 2 years and never met until I was literally starting to move boxes out of my house. I was set to graduate at the end of summer and wanted to get a jump start on moving things out. He was playing frisbee on the lawn across from my house with a friend of mine from high school so I went to say hello. I don't know if I call it love at first sight, but I definitly remember thinking "this guy is going to be something special" when I first laid eyes on him.I was supposed to go home (about an hour away) that night, but I stayed in town and hung out with him and the mutual friend. We had a very fast courtship (mostly spent in bars- hey it was college! ) and here we are 6+ years later!
