We met in study hall our sophomore year of high school. I was the new girl at school, and he volunteered to show me around. Turned out, we had all but one class together that year. We were really good friends, and didn't really realize our feelings for the other, until we started dating other people!! lol We dated some in high school, but it just wasn't meant to be then, I guess. I wrote him a letter, taking a chance that he was still living with his parents, a couple years after we graduated, and we've been together ever since.

well my best friend was dating a guy and i always was the third wheel it seemed like so she set me up with one of his friends we were seniors in high school we hit it off and fell in love. dh later told me that my best friends bf wanted to ask me out how wierd is that....i then in turn later in our early 20's set up the best friends old boyfriend with a friend of mine and they dated and had twins lol...

My best friend at the time went to the county fair with her new boyfriend (DH's best friend) and met him and took him to my house a few days later for us all to hang out. It took a couple times of seeing him before he got up the nerve to ask me out (he called as asked me out right as Kelly Clarkson was winning American Idol lol.) We've been together ever since, now 5 years and 20 days.

Met him off of MySpace.com - and I was always the one to tell my friends not to meet wierdos off of the internet. But hey it did take me about 2 months to meet him in person. I was with a friend and we were at a public place.

We met at a volleyball class at community college. I had to open the gym door to let him in. I noticed his eyes first when he smiled at me after I opened the door for him. Turns out he was lifelong friends with one of my HS classmates! And his ex girlfriend went to the same college as me the year before and she and I lived only a few blocks away. He also has another college buddy who has family in Northern Cal that knows my relatives up there too. Too many coincidences. We were bound to meet!

We have been together for 10 years, married happily for 6, and have two beautiful kiddos. He still makes me laugh everyday .

On AOL! I happened across his AOL profile as I was poking around online, and IM'ed him when he signed on a half hour later. Found out he was in college and single, and that he was already a member of my parents' new church that I hadn't yet visited! Met him at Wed. night Bible Study, and get engaged three months later! <3
