OK, I understand when you set up a booth, you need to get out there a little to get some business. At the apple orchard yesterday there was a Direct TV booth set up. They had a raffle for a 100 dollar gift card. I have cable, no plans to switch for about a year, and I didn't want them calling me. So I passed the table by, and did not enter. Not worth my aggrevation. Later on in the day Kayla brings a bag of candy for Julia. I ask her where she got it. She says free from the Direct TV booth. The guy talked her in to entering. She said she told him no, but he asked her 3 times if she was sure. He asked her for her parents name. She told him she didn't know her address, and he said thats ok, we just need the phone number. If I had enough guts and it wasn't a church function(I know it shouldn't matter, but hey, I know the owners) I would have demanded my entry back.

Church function or not ~ I would have still gone and gotten my entry back. First of all ~ what on earth are they doing talking to a child in the first place (I am assuming she is a child (or minor) since they asked for her parents name). Second ~ just curious how she got to the DirecTv booth without you in the first place?? Again - just wondering I don't know how old she is ~ so she may be old enough to go wandering about without you.

I would probably let my church know what they were doing. They might want to reconsider letting them have a booth at future functions.
