I know this isn't very frugal but I'm thinking about ordering one of my kids' costumes from Disney. But if I order the wrong size, you have to pay to send it back to them instead of them sending you a pre-paid label to return it. So that's my main hold up.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience in ordering from Disney and if their sizes run small or large or just right. That would help me a little as well in my decision.

Oh, so you'll know, the Disney stores that were around closed so it's not like I can go there to buy the costume or return it to a store if I get the wrong size.

Thanks for any help!

Funny you should ask! I hardly ever go to Target (30 min. drive versus 10 to Wal-Mart) but I have a friend who goes often. She said she saw the Buzz costume I'm looking for this weekend and is going to Target probably tomorrow night and will look for me to see if they have the size I need. So that'll save me a lot of money as well as shipping!

If I were you, I'd check the Disney size chart...you can click on the chart where you select the size you want. Go by the weight, NOT the age. I've done that and it's worked every time for me from Disney. I've never gotten something that was too small. IF you prefer, order the size bigger. Even if it's a little big on her, since it's a costume it will still fit. DD1's cinderella dress was a size big on her when she first got it and all we did was put a little white T-shirt under it and it fit perfectly. AND she's been using it for dress up for two years now.
