So I finally get to talk to my husband (he is on his way back from a business trip) and tell him about the creepy Craigslist guy and he laughs at me. He thinks it is funny. He acts like I'm an idiot.

I just had a creep email me off a post on craigslist too. What is it with these guys, acn't they go an a dating service or something.

never have people come to your home you just never know who they are i meet people in a public place or dh drops off to their home its just safer.

Hopefully others reading this will take the advice to not have anyone come to your house.

I use DH's first name in all correspondence with craigslist. Its better to have them think theyre dealing with a guy than a girl. And I make sure DH is here when they come. There are some creepy nasty people that lurk that site, but usually they are deleted pretty darn quickly. You should flag him - report him to the craigslisters.

Yuck, I feel sorry for his wife. This reminds me of something I saw on Craigslist once. I was looking for a couch in the free section and one of the posts just said "free" so I opened it to see what it was. Well, it was a bunch of pics of naked guys. I couldn't believe it. What if my dd had been sitting by me? Anyway, I hope this guy stops e-mailing you!

I'm sorry that you went through that. Darned hubby! Men just have no clue what it is like to feel vulnerable and violated.
