What I am trying to say is- he was not on a list anywhere. So you need to be aware of everyone IMO.

Of course I am careful. I don't let my girls go out by themselves(11 and 12). I usually have them take the cellphone with them. They have to be in by 8, well actually sooner now. The street lights come on between 7 and 7:30. They are not allowed to enter any of their friends houses if I don't know them. We have instructed them on what to do in certain situations.
I still think it is good to check the list. I told my daughter she doesn't need to mention anything to anyone. I just wanted her to see the picture of the man that was a confirmed child sex offender.

You are right. I haven't checked it since this summer, so I need to do a follow up. That just scares the beejeebees out of me. We have a few in our area, so I want to keep tabs.
