Hi everyone. Last night was the big shindig!!! We did end up having it at home even though it didn't rain all day!!!! It was very chilly though so i was happy to be nice and warm.

Our costumes were a hit. Everyone loved Dog and Beth. Haha.

There were alot fewer people then i had thought. There were about eight couples. I did a Halloween Bingo where everyone had to walk around and find people who matched the spots on the card. For example if it said "has brown eyes" you would have to find someone who has brown eyes..write their name in the spot.....fill up five spaces in a row and you win. Winner got a g.c. to our record store for $25

Next we did a a fear factor game. They had to drink a nasty conconction, pass a marshmellow around with a spoon without dropping it and do a skit. The winners got a bucket of popcorn, soda, candy and a gift card to Blockbuster.

Best costume was a UPS driver and a huge package. They won a $25 g.c. to a local pizza place.

Best carved pumpkin won a $25 g.c. to a friends clothing store.

I made these really cool eyeballs. They looked so real. I also made the ever famous kitty liter cake.

The d.j. was awesome!!!! It made the party!!!He had lights and a fog maching. Played great music although he did play one or two songs that i had to tell him to change....i wasn't happy about that. He is a friend and he got a little tipsey and i thought didn't use good judgement. Other than that he was great.

Andrew got very drunk. Oh my gosh if i had been drinking he would have been hilarous. However i wasn't so i found it kind of annoying. I didn't say much though because in 12 years i've never seen him drink.....i think he needed to blow off some steam. I think he is hurting this morning though. I don't think he'll be doing that again for a long time.

My house looked sooooo cool if i do say so myself We decorated inside and out. Lights, fog, more lights and tons of skulls and etc...... I took some pics and once my other computer is fixed i'll post some. Oh and i can't remember who suggested the jars with colored water and little things stuck in it.....kind of like experiments.....The boys picked out some of their rubber snakes and lizards and i put them in little canning jars with colored water. I stuck them on the counter top in the kitchen. It was good because the boys could help and they looked cool too.

Well i have to start cleaning up. That's the down size of any party right??? I feel i gotta start thinking about next year now.

Thanks to everyone for all your suggestions and support with this party!!!! Stormy your cd was wonderful. The dj even took the songs and added them to his list. He loved them!!

Don't tease me ladies. I could think of nothing better than having some of my Mommysavers friends showing up next year!

I ended up getting Wyatt's friend's nanny to watch the kids. They went to her house and stayed over. If was expensive but worth it. It was someone i trusted and like. She actually was invited to the party but didn't know if she wanted to got. So i said would you rather earn some cash.....she said YES! Worked out perfectly.

Oooh you did the specimen jars! I was wondering if those were really as cool looking when someone normal made them -- sometimes on TV they look better than in real life you know? I'm glad things went so good! I take it this will be an annual thing???
