Okay, so it's a big thing lately that the boys at school are trading toys. ALready at home with the neighborhood kids we had to put a stop to it because my son was getting taken advantage of. I'm not sure this is the case at school but I still don't like the idea of toy trading. First of all, they aren't even supposed to have the toys at school at all. Second there's the taking advantage of the other kid. Somebody always seems to get the short end of the deal.

I just don't like it. But maybe I'm being a fuddy duddy. What do you all think of it?

I don't allow my kids to trade toys except for things like Pokemon or Yugioh cards.

I wouldn't like it and wouldn't let my son take any toys to school if that was happening. Our big thing here is Yugioh cards. My son will take them and someone will get mad becaue they want him to GIVE him a card and I told him no. You can trade but you can't give them a card. Last year I remember my son came home with a gameboy game. I said where did you get that and he said Will and I traded. I said no you can't trade things like that. First of all I didn't know he took it to school. So I wrote the teacher a note and told her that I didn't think that was a good idea and she agreed. So I guess I would just not let him take anything to school.

That's the other thing...I don't know how he's getting toys to school!!! I keep his backpack downstairs so he can't sneak stuff into it. I don't think he's got stuff in his pockets, but I don't check every single day. Do I have to SEARCH my son everyday?!?!
