My husband is on day four of his trip and I miss him. He'll be home late Sunday night. My 4 year old's ear infection is evidently returning and I need to get her in the doctor tomorrow.

But I think the biggest thing is a friend of the family died last night. She had had a horrible batter with cancer and in some ways it is good to know that she is finally in peace. But my heart still goes out to her husband and her young son. She was a good woman and no one deserves what she went through.

I lost my own brother to cancer, almost 20 years ago... I miss him too!

OK -- my 4 year old doesn't believe in pity parties for her mommy! I better go!

I'm so sorry for all you are going through, and trying to deal with a new loss. Take time for yourself if you can to work through it all. Huggggggs to you!
