My inlaws are here for lunch (I had to look something online so popped over here quickly) and mil is in a bad, bad, bad mood!!! She is upset with me because her son lost some keys of hers to a stinking lock! I still don't know why they gave it to him anyways when they had a storage place. And, if they gave them to HIM, I don't see why the anger is directed towards me, but whatever. She is just being very ugly today.

She is anti-everything today!!! She has been here 20 minutes and I am ready for her to LEAVE!

OH, I hear you..and I will pray for you!!! I have one of "those", too!! I am very relieved that it is friends only coming to my house today! LOL

I have a very rude MIL, and I gotta say, I'm only letting it go so far. She has no right to be rude. I have put her in her place a few times, not by being mean, but bringing her rudeness to her attention. "Why are you acting mad at me?" "Is that appropriate in MY house?" "How would you feel if your MIL had done that to you?" I'm at the point I don't let them get away with it. And if I'm ever that rude to my daughter in law, I would hope my son would call me on it so she doesn't have to!

I think I would tell her it was her son that lost the crazy keys and not treat you like that...your home not hers so I would just put in a check a little bit.....but I hope it got better for you all.
