Their first day...and I didn't even cry ~ until the teacher started . She was a 5th grade teacher until this year now she is teaching kindergarten. When she saw some of the mom's crying she started...then the mom next to me started....then I started.
What a team of mothers we make...LOL!

DD#1 started 4th grade. She wanted Dad to walk her to her room. She has a male teacher - I'm guessing no crying there..LOL!

My oldest started Kindergarden today, sniff sniff. He got on the bus with his backpack and lunchbox and looked back at us, but I didn't cry. I was nervous, but couldn't let it show because he feeds his own fears that way. Hopefully all is well, right now as I write, he should be in lunch! I can't wait to meet that bus at 2:17

I sent 3 off to school today, 4th grader, 1st grader, and pre-schooler. My pre-K goes all day on Tuesday and Thursday. Hope it's going well for him . My digital camera broke so I had to use a regular one, hope the pictures turned out.

I cry very easily and know I will cry on dd's 1st day of kindergarten! AND yes, if I manage to be strong enough, having anyone else around me cry, well my tears automatically start to flow too!!!

Apparently kindergarten was nothing to be scared of...according to her she learned nothing, met nobody, did nothing, and talked to no one. I would say she is acclimating just fine ( as she sounds like my 4th grader already ).

I was able to hold back the tears till the bus turned off our road, then the water works began. Today is Skyler's first day of kindergarten! Katie is still home with me a couple mroe years but she started crying for him this morning even before I did!
The school called me around 11:30 to ask me why he was absent! I about had a heart attack. His bus was 45 minutes later so he was late for school and marked absent.

Yipee, I was doing the happy dance this morning!!!! I sent my 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 8th graders back to school today!!! My 3 yr old was really angry because his preschool does not start until next week and then my 2 yr old grand son got mad and announced that "I big, I go skool!!!
