I posted this in kitchen chatter but I really need your opinions so I'm posting it here too

I have a question for all you pumpkin pie fans. I don't particularly care for it myself, but I volunteered to make it for tomorrow. I already baked the pie and it looks good but I wanted to make it a little fancier and I was thinking about drizzling some caramel ice cream topping on it and sprinkling it with toasted pecans. I think this sounds good but since I don't really eat it, I'm not too sure- so what do you all think?

Sounds yummy. But most pumpking pie fans might like it by itself(with whipped cream of course. If you made more than one, I would leave one plain.

I don't like pumpkin pie either but my family does. I find that when I sprinkle it with extra cinn. that it looks great. If you add too much to it that could be ruining the pie for those pumpkin pie lovers.

I bring coolwhip and that's the topping for those that like it that way

Make a little extra pie crust, cut it into leaf shapes, bake it and arrange them on top of the pie. That's all you need to dress it up.

thanks guys. I tried the pie crust leaves and I burned them! I decided to skip the caramel and just arranged a few whole pecans on top to make it look nice. They can always take them off if they want and I have cool whip.
