Happy Thanksgiving to you too! I am American, but I am just goofing off as I wait for the rolls to rise. That is all I have to make today. And since it is the only thing(besides pop) that I have to bring, I like to go all out and make 'em homemade.
Hubby took my son to the our churchs annual Turkey bowl. The get together at the Highschool football feild and play for an hour. Hubby isn't playing. He is skinny, and gets cold easy. He says he works construction every day outside, and he is not going to freeze on his day off.

I'm goofing off too. I only had to cook one thing and I am done, so I am just waiting until the time to go over to my aunt and uncle's to eat. We are having a wonderful light rain (we are in a severe drought right now and this is the first rain we have seen in over a month) so I am very, very thankful for that. Dh took the boys out in their raincoats and boots for a nice walk in all the falling leaves, so I am sitting here in my jammies at 10 AM loving every minute of the peace and quiet!

We were supposed to be at my inlaws this week, but my children were sick last week and my inlaws didn't want us to take the risk of exposing my dh's very frail grandmother, so we rescheduled for after Christmas. So I am also very thankful I didn't have to make a 7 hour drive yesterday and chase my toddler around my mil's gorgeous house for the next few days! I'll happily put that off for a few more weeks....

Just waiting around until it's time to make an appearance at my parent's house for Thanksgiving meal. I'm dreading this because my mother is not the greatest cook, but insists on being the hostess each year. I just pray i don't get food poisoning or major indigestion because i have to work tomorrow! Friday will be a long day, since there is no mail delivery today, tomorrow will be horrible!
Happy Thanksgiving or non-Thanksgiving to everyone!!! All the deer hunters stay safe too!!

Just a slow morning on here for us Americans. I'm sick. The baby is sleeping. My husband had an allergic reaction to something, broke out horribly, took Benadryl and is now sleeping himself and my daughter is having a snack before we head out in about two hours.

Regular day of chores here. We've been having a wonderful snow fall today. My son and I went out and played in it this morning. Lots of fun!

Another Canadian here! Nothing special going on here! I worked on a Christmas craft at my friend's house, most of the day. I'm just waiting for my potatoes to cool down a bit, so I can cut them up, to make hashbrowns for the breakfast skillet I'm making for supper. Guess I should go and wash, chop and cook the other veggies! Have a great day everyone!

Howdy, neighbor!

American here checking in. Mel, I'm sorry things are so icky at your house. My daughter has been coughing for a couple of days and just threw up. We're s'posed to go out to dinner, but now I have to play it by ear. She does act better since emptying her little tummy!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, even those Canandians...really glad you are our neighbors!
