Will be after Christmas. I'm shopping when everything is 50-75% off. I did that with many presents last year and wrapped many today. To me, this is way better than Black Friday deals.

I do that as much as possible, but it gets harder and harder as your kiddos get older. There is no way to really know what they will be wanting for Christmas a whole year ahead of time.

I agree, I have a lot of stuff I bought last year to give as gifts this year. Some I got at 50%, 75% and even 90% off. Makes gift giving that much easier! and cheaper!

I bought the clear basket wrapping lastyear on clearance for cents!! and I'm gonna be using it this year with my mama made bath kits. I'm gonna run to goodwill and grab a couple baskets for little cents and decorate them up and make up my mama made bath salts, bath soaps and my wash cloth sets

I also got some new ornaments last year for little cents...again..and this year was able to donate all my older ornaments to my sister since she has nothing since her move. I will be picking up new lights after Christmas since I need a few LONG strands for our tree!

I want to pick up wrapping paper too! I got last years printed wrapping paper at Goodwill for $0.49 for 5yds I also got bows for packages on clearance last year for little to nothing! I'd love to grab Christmas cards AND holiday fabric deals.

I'd like to do that but I don't know what the girls will want for Christmas a year ahead.

I don't think I'd do it as much with toys, maybe a little. But with pj's, bath and lotion sets, makeup sets, calogne sets, stuff like that I do it. I got a ton of stuff from the Body Shop which I love last year at half price and I'm giving it to my side of the family. I also hit the motherload at Walgreens with their leftover things and will be giving out a bunch of that. I may brave the mall this year the day after.

I wanted to buy makeup sets and bath and lotion sets last year for like 90% off but I worried about them getting nasty. Lotion gets very watery when its old and makeup starts to smell funny. I didnt want to be embarassed by it , if it should happen.

I do that a bit also ......I buy holiday decorations and such after Christmas, place it in 1 or 2 big storage bins and open it up the next year. I have it all marked on a spreadsheet so I don't overbuy 11 months later. I just opened my 2 bins today - it was so much fun to see what I bought. All of it cute.......can't wait to give it to people!!!

I agreed! I will try to change my shopping method during after Christmas to get good deals to buy the items for my son, my family and my husband's family for 2008 Christmas. That should help to put "2008 Christmas presents" aside in the plastic tote box and keep in the closet. Thanks for advice!
