I am wondering if this is "normal". I have a 16 month daughter and she has 6 total teeth (4 on top and two on bottom) her first tooth appeared when she was 10 months... k so here’s the thing: she has been acting very "moody" today, when I put her to bed she put my finger in her mouth and I felt a MOALLAR!! In the way back... I thought that they were the last to come in??! The odd thing is that both top molars are in... If you have comments to this PLEASE add them.... before I over react and take her to the dentist!
Thanks in advance.

One year molars can come in around one year or later. I don't think there is anything to worry about. You could probably google about the order of cutting teeth. Each child is different in the order they cut them.

my 15 month old has had his front molars (if that makes sense- not the ones way in the back) for a while now. He has 12 teeth. He's just missing his canine teeth. bmsmgwk is right, they can grow in in different orders. I don't remember my first son's coming in this way. Look at it this way, she'll be able to eat more now!

i would not worry about it if your still concerned ask your ped at the 18 month check up.. my dd is 15 months and she only has 2 teeth on the bottom so every kid is different.
