Although I try to keep the germs down, my preschooler brings plenty home.
We don't do it on purpose to build our immunity up....that was just sort of a joke. My kids were never sick much even as small children. We're just sort of laid back sorts that don't hype a lot on cleanliness. If you could see my house you'd know that. I even am a nurse. Of course I washed my hands then

No I don't use them. A few years ago we were talking about them and my SIL was pre-med and she said, "They only kill 99.9% of 1 type of bacteria." Well, ever since then I've never bothered. We don't wash our hands over much either-just after going to the bathroom, things like that. Works for us, my kids are hardly ever sick and when they do get the occassional cold it's b/c they caught it from a friend after a playdate.

We are big hand sanitizer users here -
I have 2 in my purse, one in the car , in each bathroom and in the kitchen.

Sometimes bathrooms are so gross, and I'd rather have dd use hand sanitizer than go in and wash her hands...
I agree with this totally!! We aren't big hand washers to begin with , We wash our hands only after bathroom use or when our hands are actually soiled.
Otherwise its hand sanitizer.

I just read an article that unless soap in the public bathrooms in in individual sealed bags in the dispensers , They are breeding grounds for bacteria. This article reccomended hand santitizer too.

I am not a freak about germs , we get plenty , I am sure,
I Just have always been a big hand sanitizer user , just as much as I love candles and coffee.
