Ok my husband works for a VERY large retail company and hes an asst manager. So the GM decided they are going to do a gift exchange. Which is fine. But they set the limit for $25. Isnt that a little steep? (scarey thing is that he initially set it for $50) anywho they are going to be doing this at this Thursdays meeting. And Dh is going to be SO embarassed if he doesnt participate. this is a small group of people, so he will be singled out. He is the only one with kids, most ofthe other people are pretty well off. Any advice? we really dont have the $25 to spend!

Just because they set it at $25 doesn't mean you can't spend less. I've always found with careful shopping and a bit of luck, I can usually find something on clearance or that would make a nice gift for less.

$25.00 ouch! I would look into a gift basket. You can usually find baskets at the thrift store and fill it with all sorts of stuff - make a theme out of it. I know a couple of people were making movie baskets that sounded really cute and could be done very inexpensive.

Ya, I just asked my husband last night who he needed for gift for his co-workers and he has a few himself.

I love the gift basket idea. And I know I can fill that up for cheap!

Linens and Things has a very cute popcorn basket on sale for $14 right now, it comes with a cute popcorn bucket(either plastic or ceramic-I can't tell from pic) filled with popcorns and candies with a really cute 'movie ticket' ribbon wrap.
Bags are really easy to make homemade and cheap also. If you don't have time or materials to make, use one of the craft stores weekly 40% off coupons to go buy something cute. I used a 40% off coupon at Hallmark for my dh's gift exchange.
