I know that will sound familiar to a certain Mommysaver we all know and love!

My niece has a dd, 9 months, and thought she was 8 weeks preggo with number 2, but she started cramping, went to the hospital, and there discovered she is pregnant with 14 week old twins. A bit of a surprise to say the least, but twins run in our family, as well as her dh's family.

Anyway, a friend of mine was not impressed with this story, because... she knows a woman who is pregnant and due in about a month. This woman already has a 5 yr old, a 4 yr old, and 2 year old TRIPLETS!

Can you even imagine??

WOW! *My twins and oldest are 25 months apart, and that was tough. *The first couple of years are a bit fuzzy, but now that they're 2 & 4, it's much better. *Best wishes to your niece!! *

Funny thing- she recently asked (before becoming pregnant) and I told her that having two so close together is tough (mine are 21 mo apart). It seemed to me like I couldn't enjoy either child as much- I was sick and feeling bad when ds was 12-13-14-15 months, then had no energy later in the pregnancy. And after dd was born, my attention was so divided I couldn't enjoy her like I did ds when he was a newborn. And I didn't have three!

But she is 25 and I am in my 30's- a real old timer- so everything I say goes with a grain of salt, LOL. She'll soon get to go through the whole transition herself and form her own opinions.

Moms of twins- what was the most helpful thing other people did for you to help you get through? I'm looking for creative ways to help her.

The best thing people did for me was offering to help with my oldest dd while I was on bedrest for 13-1/2 weeks. After the twins were born, people from church brought food, and one lady even came over to do my dishes and iron my clothes! It helped so much!!! We also had some friends that watched the girls for us one night so my dh and I could go out to a movie. So so nice!

Jenn,
I'm 25 and I don't take any of your advice with a grain of salt Of course I feel 40!
She'll learn...and beg for your help

I have a nephew and his wife who have 3 girls. There is almost 17 months between them. The twins were born at 30 weeks. The oldest girl just turned 4 and the twins will be 3 in December. The mom emails me pictures. I live in NC and they live in NH. I love to look at them. They are all three red haired. They are just precious. I can't imagine having kids that close. I am sure you will find lots of ways to help.
