Seems like we always have one crabby person on Christmas here. This year it is my 14 yr old dd Holy cow, she is pouty! She got what she wanted, but dh gave her his IHome (which he used about once) instead of buying a new one!! Ugh!!! I thought I raised her thriftier than that!!!!

This question is debatable -- both my husband and I are sick ... again.

I'll have to admit it's me at our house! I am just tired, I want a day off to just relax! We were so busy all weekend then I worked yesterday then straight from work to dh's family's Xmas, got home at midnight, got up at 7 to cook, and now I should be on my way to my dad's! DH already left w/o me! And I work the rest of the week...come on, weekend!

Yep, it's me too. I had a clean house before we opened gifts yesterday. They totally destroyed it. Now I have to spend my day cleaning before my mil and fil get here. Everyone here is off in lala land and nobody seems to be hearing anything I'm saying today. Maybe when company leaves I will be able to sit down and relax and won't be so crabby.

Update!

My daughter vomited ... in the kitchen. And I have dirty dishes all over. I'm going to watch one movie and then I'll do the dishes -- already cleaned up the vomit.

Oh I feel so bad for your DD. One holiday we had even my aunt visiting from very far away. I was feeling so sick and all I wanted to do was sit down but my mom kept ordering me back into the kitchen to clean up all the dirty dishes. She kept accusing me of playing that I was sick because I wanted to visit with my aunt.

I had chicken pox.

I got them from my brother. We didn't discover how sick I was until after the kitchen was clean, of course.

Dh is grouchy this morning. We let the kids open gifts last night because i was too exhausted after work and wanted to sleep in this morning. I wanted to see their reaction to their gifts so we opted to let them open them all last night instead. They thanked ME for all their gifts but not DH. So i guess he must have been stewing about it all night and blew up about it this morning. Of course me rolling my eyes about it made it worse. I don't think they intentionally snubbed dh, they just know that i always do the shopping. He's off visiting his Father right now and probably grumbling about his "ungrateful" children.

ds is whiny. No more vomiting, thank goodness, but still lethargic, cranky and not eating well. He's officially DONE with christmas. He's napping right now, hoping he'll feel a little better afterwards.
Tomorrow's car trip will be fun, hopefully the motion won't bring the vomiting back in the car dh just cleaned for me
