My dh bought us a large above-ground pool, that must have cost around $500! I know that he was thinking of me and the kids, since we really don't have much else to do and I'm going kind of crazy living with MIL, but I can't help but think of all the other things we could have used that money on (like mounting bills). I haven't said anything, and I probably won't, but I did sing "Happy Birthday" to him, since his birthday is next month!
