I would be "bragging" if I were you, too -- only I think of it as "sharing the joy". We women need to do that more often! Tell your daughter your Mommysavers friends are proud of her.

Thanks everyone again for your congratulations. As you know I waited a wk to post about it because I didn't want it to come across the wrong way. But I was dying to shout it from the rooftops as Shannon/Bryce suggested.

I'm glad to hear that those of you who have children with problems find it encouraging. I do consider her a success story and hope you all find such success with your children.

Wow, she applied to alot of schools! Is that average for kids now days? I only applied to 2 schools when I went to college (back in the dark ages)

OMG!! How wonderful!! It's awsome that you are so involved with her. My parents didn't graduate from high school, let alone college so for them it wasn't very important if I went. When I did go, they weren't very supportive. Now as a RN, they have changed their minds alot!! Give yourself a pat on the back and don't worry as much about the money, you can't take it with you, and an education will last a lifetime!!!
